Classic Riders Club of Goulburn

The Classic Riders Club of Goulburn meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Goulburn Workers Club at 6.30 p.m.  AGM's are held each year in August with the next one being 11 August 2026.

Goulburn has a long history of motorcycling going all the way back to being the host to the first Australian Tourist Trophy (TT) race in 1914 and the first official Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix held in 1924.

The Classic Riders Club of Goulburn (CRCG) began with the idea to form a Motorcycle Club catering for restorers and riders of old and classic motorcycles.  From this idea thanks to the work of Neil MacDonald and Richard Corbett our club grew to the current form.

Originally the founding members gathered in Neil’s under house shed, the unofficial workshop which would be the creation point of CRCG.

The official launch was held on 13 August 1991, the inaugural meeting being held at the Goulburn RSL Club. CRCG commenced ‘life’ with 23 potential members and today has around 150 members and over 130 motorcycles on Club Plates.

Each year the club holds a number of events outside regular rides, these include the Great Southern Motorcycle Swap Meet, Worn Out Wander, Tiddler Tour, Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, Memorial Ride, Annual Ride and other events that occur non-annually.

The club also has ties to Goulburn Motorcycle Club, which is the oldest motorcycle club in Australia.

New members are welcome and the club is “all inclusive” for motorcycles from vintage/veteran to modern and riders of any age.  Our club ethos is one of support and friendship, a ‘family’ with common interest and a passion for everything to do with motorcycles.
